All our TIARC CMS™ websites are hosted at an externally hosted data centre – and reside on a split environment consisting of a Windows 2008 Web Server and SQL 2008 Server. Both servers are running on the new Microsoft Hyper-V virtual platform. All our servers are installed and fully patched to the latest recommended levels.
All sites are backed-up daily to an offsite location for full redundancy and disaster recovery. We also have a full site or file level restore process that can roll-back up to 7 days.
The TIARC CMS™ is a licensed software application, so includes minor updates and patches/support as part of the annual license cost. Minor updates are viewed as ‘point’ increases within the current version. For example we are currently running a new major version 3.1 (Social Platform Version) – so a minor update would move the version number to 3.2, etc. We are constantly looking at improving our software, and every 12-18 months we will look at upgrading the platform to a new ‘major’ version (e.g 4.1)– which fundamentally alters the technical architecture of the application. For all customers on older versions, we provide a hassle-free upgrade path (at a cost) for moving to the new version. Overtime we will stop providing support to these older versions.
Support (SLA)
Every Interactive School Website is covered by our standard Silver Service Level Agreement (SLA), centred on an email support system – 8am to 5pm, 5 days a week. Should you want greater support and maintenance, we have more comprehensive & bespoke SLA's in place.
Training
We provide up to half a days training as part of the standard TIARC CMS™ website package – and this should be more than enough to get your content managers up to speed and confident in managing the content. Should you require any further ‘refresher’ sessions, we would of course be able to accommodate this.
